In Summer 2017 the Erith Lighthouse popped up on Erith’s riverside. This exciting pink and blue temporary restaurant hosted a number of sold out supper clubs and exciting events from it’s base first in the Riverside Gardens and then in Pier Square.
Open during the day as a cafe, local people were able to relax by the river with food and drinks delivered by GCDA or attend one of the programme of events including foraging walks, cookery workshops, arts and crafts activities and live radio broadcasting. The evening programme saw top local chefs cooking up delicious delicacies for diners to try.
The Erith Lighthouse programme was funded by the Mayor of London through the London Regeneration Fund and designed and delivered by DK-CM and The Decorators, in partnership with London Borough of Bexley. Find out more about the programme here: www.facebook.com/ErithLighthouse/
