Works to improve Erith Station were completed in December 2018.
The public space in and around the station forecourt was opened up to improve pedestrian and vehicle access. New seating, trees and shrubbery, plus more secure bicycle racks, were added to make the area more attractive for residents. The heritage lights on the station building were also renovated and brought back to their former glory.
The improvements are part of the wider Erith Links programme to improve public space and transport in the town. The project was funded by London Borough of Bexley.
