At Riverside Gardens improvements are really starting to take shape. Works to re-landscape the gardens and bring residents and visitors closer to the River Thames with new seating and lighting. New features include a playground and outdoor fitness zone, as well as a community gardening area located along a ‘Thames promenade route’ running the length of the gardens. The final stage of the improvement programme is the installation of a new accessible ramp which will provide better access to the the park and local walking and cycling routes.
Works will be complete in Spring with the gardens expected to reopen in the coming months.
