The project in Pier Square has renovated the area and provided new public seating and community space at the entrance of Erith Pier. This space will be used to provide a focal venue in Erith for future community events and festivals and will have new landscape, seating and lighting.
Alongside the improvements to Riverside Gardens and events on the pier this project will provide more opportunities for people to enjoy the river and make it easier to access.
